Number 32: Visit Washington DC

As my 30th birthday is quickly approaching I was excited to cross off one more item off my bucket list.  I attended a workshop at the University of Maryland just a short metro ride to DC.  The timing could not be more perfect with Memorial day right around the corner.  Typically, I would say I am  not crazy patriotic but it is hard not to be in the presence of so many great memorials and monuments.  There is something so powerful and emotional about this city.  I was able to see the Capitol, Lincoln and Washington monuments, the White house, and tons of museums.
