Why hello there...

Why hello there!  The lack of blog posts on my part has been two fold; my new obsession with pinterest and the sickness that has enveloped our house for the past month.

Why hello snow!  It is about time we had some snow with all the very dry and dreary weather we have been having around here.  Madeline and Sophie spent all day playing and Matt even made the executive decision to have a "snow day" and cancel all home school events including ballet.  Clara cried long enough to get a couple of pictures and spent the rest of the day watching from the comforts of our living room.

Why hello Artesia!  Matt called me at work to receive a tutorial on my fancy camera to take these pictures.  Long story short his finger was on the flash not allowing it to "pop up".  Let's be honest there is a lot we both have to learn with our camera but it is worth it.

Why hello sickies!  There has been someone sick in our house for the last 3 months.  Between colds, the flu, pink eye, and a cough that won't quit we have been miserable this winter.  There has been a lot of cuddling and t.v. watching.  Please say a prayer for us because this is getting ridiculous.  I had high hopes for the new year on exercising and eating right but it has not happened yet.  Hopefully, we will feel better soon and take February by storm.

This picture was taken before the no sucky sucky rule was in place.

Why hello cuties!  In a brief moment of feeling better we took the girls to get there hair cut and get frozen yogurt.  Clara did amazing, she is no longer afraid of the hair cut and just was asking for a sucker the whole time.  Her hair is coming in thicker and looks less like a mullet (so a total success!)

Sophie has been loving her longer hair!  She has been asking for braids and loves how it touches her back in the bath tub.  She did talk her hair dresser's ear of about how she was going to get her finger nails painted  (a indie rocker at Great Clips).  I love how she talks to adults like it's her job.

Maddy's hair is super short.  She likes to rock the A line bob but this was a little shorter than mom anticipated.  Oh well, it is really cute and it will grow.  She also wanted a braid and that was the best I could do.  I will post pictures of her dry hair next time so you can get the full effect.
