Happy Easter!!!

This Easter was so special for many reasons; the new pope, the new baby, and a fruitful lent.  We were happy to celebrate with the Easter Vigil mass and all of our secular Easter traditions.  Here are a ton of pictures of our first Easter as a family of 6!

Cody, our bunny, was treated to extra carrots and love this weekend.
I imagine our children sitting around the table, many Easters from now, as adults saying "remember the Easter Clara had to wear a helmet."  Yeah, that was this Easter.  Still recovering from her head injury she happily collected eggs wearing her princess head gear.

Easter Egg Coloring: On Thursday night my grandma and mom came over to color eggs.  The girls had so much fun and the mess was minimal.  So a total success from my point of view.  Too bad nobody in our house likes hard boiled eggs.  We tried dying brown eggs, in addition to the white, the colors were more intense and less pastel.  I think next year we will stick to glitter and stickers because the kids were not overly impressed.  I thought they were beautiful and a nice change.

I love Sophie's face in this picture.

Eggstravaganza: We went to a local church for some "eggstravaganza" fun.  The girls loved the hunt, cupcake decorating, and games.  Even though we are not parishioners the church is always so friendly and welcoming.

Easter Brunch: It was so nice to catch up with Matt's side of the family.  There is so much love for our kids there it just makes me smile.  Here are a million pictures...enjoy!

The famous Erni Easter Egg hunt begins!

Easter Dinner:  We enjoyed dinner at my grandmas house.  We played bowling, hide and seek, and watched the mommy edited version of Bambi.
