Annual Winter Traditions

Most people know that it is winter by the calendar or the weather, not me.  There are 2 things that have to happen for it to officially be winter; I fall on the ice and midnight sledding.  After the kids go to bed, Matt hooks up this old school radio flyer sled to our SUV and we take turns pulling each other around our neighborhood.  We laugh like little kids and scream like little girls! (especially Matt :)  This year we felt so guilty about all the fun we were having we woke the girls up and let them have a turn in their pj's.  Baby Ben loves his car seat, so this fun excursion led to his best sleep ever.

Disclaimer for all the Grandma's out there...
We go literally 5 miles an hour and our house never leaves our sight!
Oh, and Matt pulled Clara by hand because as she would say she is 'cared to death!

and yes... Matt and I have matching coats and hats!
Just be lucky it is not a leisure suit and we are not power walking around the mall.
