Game Day!!!
When we moved into our rental house in Lafayette we were surprised to find out that our neighbors were also from Idaho. In fact, the dad actually worked for a research station that Simplot would collaborate with. They have 3 children similar in our age to our children. What a small world?! They told us about this great Mega church by our house. While we wish everyone was Catholic we were glad to find some great christian activities for our kids to join in on. The most recent being soccer. The girls were bursting at the seems counting the days until their first game. They both did great! With separate practice and game times we were able to watch both girls. Madeline does so well following the game and really gets into it. Sophie on the other hand is such a goof ball. My favorite moment was when she scored a goal going the wrong direction, completely oblivious to everyone yelling at her, she did the cutest victory dance.
Madeline and Sophie are quite the pair. They are so sweet with one another and not the least bit competitive. Maddy was so proud to watch and cheer on her sister!

That same night Matt and I went to the Notre Dame vs. Purdue game. We were able to score really affordable seats to a great game. I think everyone thought Notre Dame was going to come out a dominate Purdue from the start. However, the Boilermakers held their own for the first half. For a large part of the game they were leading 10-0. We sported some Notre Dame swag but just liked high fiving everyone and watching the game. I was happy Notre Dame won but was more happy just to see a good game. I think the final score was Notre Dame 31 vs Purdue 24. Football is fun.
