Big Ben

Our baby boy has set a record (at least for this family) and has gained an unprecedented amount of weight in the first 2 weeks of life.  We have big babies, because mama knows how to eat, but then the genetics kick in and they stay small.  Not this guy he decided to gain 1 lb 6 oz since his last doctors appointment!  

Birth Weight:  8 lbs 3 oz

  3 days old:  7 lbs 9 oz

1 week:  8 lbs 2 oz

2 weeks:  9 lbs 8 oz

 As far as everything else goes he is healthy as can be (even that crazy rogue pinky toe- pictures to come.)   I love all the adorable boy outfits, especially the Where's Waldo thing he had going on today.  The girls did not know about Where's Waldo and kept saying "Where's Walter?" all morning.  A trip to Barnes and Noble is a must this week. O.k. enough crazy mom talk and for some cute pictures.

I shared my due date with two other special mamas; my cousin Brittany and our neighbor.  Brittany had her 1st daughter Ava about 5 hours after Ben was born.  They do not share the same birthday but was impressive none the less.  Our neighbor has 3 boys, our girls age, we found out the genders of our babies on the same day (us a boy and her a girl).  Plus we had almost the exact same labor, crazy.  Her daughter was born on 12.12.12!
