Unscripted 9/11 photos and Because of Winn Dixie

Like everyone else we said a prayer for those who lost their lives and loved ones 10 years ago. It is a day that has forever changed our country and deserves to be remembered. I remember where I was and I am sure I will never forget. This picture seemed fitting for today and the best part of it was that she did it all on her own.

Because of Winn Dixie we cleaned our backyard. Because of Winn Dixie we made luminaries. Because of Winn Dixie we invited friends over to our house for dessert and jam session. We just finished reading Because of Winn Dixie and decided to take a que from the book and have our own backyard party and do all the things previously mentioned. Mac, Debbie, Marah, and Alex are friends of ours from church and our neighbors. Last summer we seemed to see them all the time, but life got busy, and we have not had the pleasure of spending as much time with them this year. It was an honor to have Alex play his guitar for us and the girls loved it. Marah is 5 days older then Clara so it is fun to watch them grow together. I am sure they will be great friends.
