The Windy City

Some of life's best adventures are those that are unplanned.  Even though Chicago is only 2 hours away, we had been putting off this trip until we fully researched all of our options.  Parking alone is a nightmare, so taking 4 kids to such a large city we wanted a detailed itinerary.  After doing our homework we went to Chicago and threw our plans out the window.  Who knew that Chicago has a nice boardwalk and a "beach."  The kids loved swimming in the water and I loved spending time with them.  

The zoo was a bust but I did get a couple of cool shots of the girls.  

 

This was the first time Benedict was able to play in the sand and be on the "beach."
