Our summer of weddings ended on a high note...
Doesn't Matt look so handsome?
This thing lights up and shoots fire if you get a hole in one unfortunately mine was not on this hole.
Probably my favorite picture of Matt and I this year. Coordinating tie and outfit not an accident.Casey and Kari tying the knot.

We had 6 weddings this year. Insane! For of those keeping track: My cousin Brittany who married Mitch. Josh, a co-worker who married Kimberly. Another Kimberly, a friend of ours who married Travis (side note her last name is now Wingo how cool is that?!) Kimberly's twin sister Jen who married Josh. Jason, Matt's friend who married Stephanie. And last but not least, Matt's cousin Casey who married Kari.
Casey and Kari had a small intimate and beautiful ceremony at St. Chapelle Winery in Marsing, Idaho. The three highlights for me were the vows they wrote for each other, the first dances (holy cow, what a tear jerker), and the sunset limo ride Matt and I took. So, Casey is 6'3 and Kari is pushing a respectable 4'11 so to me the funniest and most touching line of there vows was how he physically looks down to her yet metaphorically looks up to her. They really do complete each other. The first dance was great and they showed off their moves but the real show was the father-daughter dance and the mother-son dance. Kari and her father danced to "I loved her first" and you couldn't help but notice Kari clutching her dad in a way only a little girl could. As a parent, it is hard not to imagine my little girls in that very same space. I am pretty sure at this point there was not a dry eye in the place but as Casey led Carrie, his mom (funny I know) out on the dance floor "Que Sera Sera" began to play. This song is very important to Matt's family as this was the song that his grandpa would hum, his license plate read , and what is engraved on his headstone. What a special moment that honored his family more then he could ever know. Ross (Matt's cousin) and Kali (Matt's sister) were so fun to hang out with at the wedding. The invitation said no kids but when you get this group together it seems like we are kids laughing and making jokes. Ross, who always seems to ride in style, rented a limo to take him back to Boise. Matt and I took full advantage of the fact that Ross was not ready to leave the wedding and took his limo on a sunset tour of the winery and surrounding area. How romantic!
On our way home we stopped by Boondocks for a round of mini-golf. Matt technically won but I had two hole in ones. So fun and what a wonderful date!
